I planted some rosemary from seed over a year ago of the whole packet one survived. It is still in the house as i'm not convinced it would survive outdoors yet. It is possibly about 15cm tall but there are not so many branches coming off it. It looks healthy. I have it in the window so it gets some sun. Also I think if I put it outside there is a possibility that the many cats that come in my garden may try to eat it?

What do people suggest to make my rosemary more of a bush than a twig?!

I found Rosemary to be almost indestructable, my 4ft high x 4ft wide rosemary bush came from a packet of cut stems (reduced to clear in morrisons). The least ropey looking of the bunch spent 2 months sitting in a glass of water on windowsill (forgotten about) and the sole survivor was planted in the garden :)

Here it is indestructible as well and mine are also about 4ftx4ft. They like it hot and dry, dry, dry ... mine survive the hot summers with virtually no water and live in red clay.

I'd nip off the top couple of inches then it will start to get side shoots....the bit you nip off you can remove some of the bottom leaves wack it in a small pot of compost then hopefully....you'll have 2 plants:dbgrtmb:
