Still learning, but would happily have a go at anything:)

                    One I did earlier DSCN0971.JPG

BUT, we'm still on the subject of Grosing, so here we go with Grosing 101 :paladin:

                    DSCN0964.JPG

Having marked out the pattern you want, you have to take into account that the lead cames are gonna throw the whole thing out by a few mil.

                    DSCN0965.JPG

Score round the bit you want to take out, then cross cut a few scratches on the waste part.

                    DSCN0966.JPG

Use the Grosing pliers to nibble away up to the line you want, this is a 2 handed operation but I needed one hand to take the pic.

                    DSCN0967.JPG

                    DSCN0969.JPG

Cut your cames to the right length and secure them with nails and I ready for soldering.

                    DSCN0970.JPG

Then solder it using sheep fat as a flux, and carry on till you'm built a window, then flog and fit it at Val's gaff :)

Hang on a squiddly minute

Val.. gets a full blown 20' x 60', top of the range, Sistine chapel-esque effort ..... Jenny gets whatever she wants for a tea cosy and I get offered .... 1"x 3" (which wouldn't even fit my key hole!) "token" which is then called a "benefit" ... (?) ..

... I'm going to vote UKIP! :th scifD36:

PS: nice bit of soldering :blue thumb:
