gutter bracket

    I am trying to off my gutter to repair a little gap but having a bit of trouble taking brackets off is there a special way or knack of doing it or must I take them of completley and buy new help?

    Hi Nathan, I am assuming you mean plastic.?I found I needed 2 hands one to lift the tip of the bracket up where it clips over the edge of the gutter & 1 to squeeze the guttering at the same time & the gutter will pop off, but sometimes if it is old the brackets can break, but usually they are easy enough...     If I can't unclip them with my bare hands I use one of these to get more leverage:
