I am planning on fitting a gutter and water butt to my cat enclosure. Wickes and The Range both sell a complete slimline butt kit for £20. The length of pipe would have to approx 3m. What is the most cost effective way of doing it? I'm guessing a 3m length of pipe won't fit in my car.

Sorry Gary, no idea ... but ... something which did occur to me when I read your post was: ... why not harness the guttering to grow something and filter that water into the butt? Knee jerk though would be watercress? (Buy a bunch from the supermarket then plant it in your guttering and the constant stream of water flowing through would a) make the watercress grown and b) keep your butt filled). Of course, a summer like this one and it would be mahoosive fail ... but, we don't always have summers like this ;) and if we did, then succulents would make an interesting change? :dunno:

That is one straight run? Wow.

Sounds like you either have to borrow a bigger vehicle, get it delivered or cut it down.
