    Hi
Have got a Guzmania HousePlant as a gift
What advise do you have for watering it in terms of how to water it and how often to water it and where is best place to place it in house - does it need/like a lot of light
    Thanks

    Hi,
These should be kept in good light but not direct sunlight.
They should be watered in the centre of the plant where the stem appears from, preferably with rain water, this central part should not dry out.
Only occasionally should you water the soil.

Your Guzmania will die gradually after flowering but two or three young shoots (pups) will emerge from the base, these can be removed and potted up separately.
