    Hello all

I need some help regarding my lawn.

I had my new Patio and Paving laid on Wednesday and Thursday, everything looks good except for the lawn which is in bad shape.

The lawn has been trampled and has embedded mud everywhere.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can revive it?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

It will grow back fine. You could aerate the lawn. With a small area like that I would aerate with a fork.

      Hello @andrews

      Thanks for the reply.

It is good to know it will grow back, I was envisioning having to get it replaced.

Just curious, when does grass start to grow, is it late March?

      Thanks in advance

      Kevin

      Hi,

Though avoid standing on the grass while doing the aerations, or leave it a week or two to dry out if its still soggy.

For such a small area, think we would put down some artifical grass if you do want green, or something like a Chamomile or similar small plants which need much less regualr trimming, or some suitable gravel etc, makes life a lot easier than cutting and trimming such small areas of grass, but each to their own. :)

      Hello @ricky101

      Thanks for the reply.

I know the area is small but I would really like to keep the lawn as is, I really enjoy nature.

I will stay off the grass until it dries out.

      Thanks

      Kevin

Aeration first then scarify, top dress with some nice top soil with some grass seed and brush into surface.
