Half an allotment is better than ...

I expect to be posting about our daughter's half allotment during the summer. we had arranged to make a start on clearing it tomorrow but the plot holders still want to do something on it before handing it over to her.

It's 5 miles from where we live, in a village called Buckden. I will have to catch a bus to get there though. Fortunately the bus stop in the village is right outside the entrance to the allotments field.

Sorry not updating this thread but our daughter didn't think she would be able to manage it & I might have trouble with public transport! So we have decided not to go ahead after all. I'm disappointed but we have to be practical.
