    Good afternoon this year I am growing a few Dahlias, I am a beginner ,can I plant more than one Dahlia in a half barrel:smile:

      What size ie depth and width , also depending which varieties you grow , if me I would plant a big cactus at the back or middle depending where you are siting it , and pop poms around the edge

        I grew a few Dahlias in planters last year. I was advised to use a container at least 50cm wide for one plant, which I did and they certainly took up the space.

        I don't know what effect it would have planting several in a 63cm wide container though. Is it worth planting one this year, with some bedding plants around it to fill it out a bit, to see how it goes?

          How about one large as a centre piece surrounded by dwarf varieties
