    HI there everyone,
    Here in Yorkshire with a large garden a new (large) polytunnel and although a lover of almost all outdoor activity I am a novice gardener- and I have been for years. I got the tunnel a bit later than expected and am now looking forward to discussing with whoever will talk to me over the next however long it takes to become an ex-novice\!

    Warm welcome Lesdyork- I'm in Harrogate. Its a bit cold for some stuff up here, but a polytunnel will be a great help. On the other hand there are loads of things that grow really well outside all year.

    The secret is to listen in to, and participate in, as many threads as you can. Lots of us have learnt loads that way.
