Hallo and lovely to find you here!

I'm looking forward to meeting you all and learning lots. I'm very new to gardening, and have the tiniest wee gardens in the world, just three window boxes, but I love them dearly and am having a great time watching the bulbs I planted grow!

Hi, there GM! There's lots of us here from Scotland - are you on the sunny warm wet west, or the freezing cold east like me? :D Makes quite a difference!

I'm in Glasgow, but I grew up in Edinburgh, so I know exactly what you mean about the freezing east coast! We get loads and loads of rain here, but it's so much milder than Edinburgh, less windy too.

Hello and Welcome! I am in the South West of Scotland - I don't know about warm and wet - it was dry, but really cold today!

I started off with window boxes too!

I've done the oppostie, GM - come from Hamilton, and after a 25 year stint in England, am now over east..... actually it's halfway between G and E, but it feels more like the east, don't quite know why... maybe it's the view of the hills in Fife that greets me every morning (when it's not foggy, that is!)

I have this lovely view of the south west, Jarbax - based on the fact I only ever went there for summer holidays - I reckon it's lovely and warm there, even if it does rain occasionally  :D

Hallo - and lovely to meet so many Scottish garden fiends (and garden fiends from all over the UK too!).

I've been popping in and out, reading some of the threads...really great.

I'm especially happy today as some of my bulbs in my windowboxes have started blooming!!
