Halloween leaf?

Good morning Gardening Lovelies,

My orchid's new flowering stem is coming along a treat, so looking forward to the flowers.

BUT one of the leaves has had some spooky damage on it, just the one leaf and I wondered if I have a little critter in the growing medium or it is something that happens to orchid leaves please? (complete novice house plant grower!).

The margin along most of the leaf looks like it has been cut away, but the rest of the plant looks OK, I think?

Any ideas please? Many thanks in advance.

 

Looks like some one has cut it off with scissors.

 

I know, I feel terrible @pete , it is such a lovely plant and giving so much but it wasn't me Gov, honest

 

I'm so sorry @Barders , as Pete says it indeed looks like an attack of the notorious leaf cutting beast.

To avoid the damage from spreading to other plants, bait them away with cakes and teach them to make snowflakes from tissue paper.
