Just carved my first Halloween pumpkin . I got a template idea on Google . It turned out quite well . Put 3 coloured LED tea-lights in it, to give it a supernatural effect.
Last thing I carved for Halloween , way back , was a turnip. Now that is liking carving solid granite !

It's for next week when the grand-kids go to the caravan for half term. They should last a week.
I may do another next weekend for outside the house on the 31st.
In fact I am taking orders , you can have anything you want , but it will always look like a cat

you know how you put a candle inside the carved pumpkin. was thinking of putting a solar light in one, having the solar capture thing positioned on the outside. problem for me, as I look at the best area for display, that there is not enough direct sun to that area. but sending the idea to you all anyway, some may have some use of it.

Just completed one for tonight :dbgrtmb: Although we dont seem to get many trick/treater up our close.
I think my previous years halloween decoration of a pigs head with an axe in it hanging from the door , may have deterred them. :snorky:

I'm not sure whether this link will work. I have mentioned this previously. Children in our village only go to houses that are drcorated. That's definitely not us. We are miserable #holes :nonofinger:
