    Helen you are right about the biting, son had a Russian Mini one called 'Skunky le Peu' - yes i know, nothing/nobody in our family has a normal name :D

    Skunky le Peu could bite thru steel the little ****** i swear he could :D

    the stripy Russian hamsters bite a lot more than the average hamster and they move more suddently.
