Here are some photosfrom our recent visit to Giardini Botanici Hanbury, La Mortala, Ventimiglia, Italy.

The gardens were in a stunning location on a headland cascading down to the sea - very quiet so could appreciate the plants without being rushed round.

Well worth a visit at 7.50 euros - you could spens all day there with a little cafe at the bottom - you could even eat your own pack up if want.l[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]ontalto0014.jpg[/img]ttp://i303.photobucke[IMG][IMG]t.com/albums/nn130/malcolmathenian/2008_0510montalto0029.jpg[/img][IMG][IMG]

    Thanks.
It looks borderline hardy in the UK, but until you try, you never know.
Could be good against a south facing wall.

May be worth a try - just a small problem of space at the moment! i have a back garden about 100x30 ft that is always bursting at the seams.
