Hanging Baskets

    Well, they are sort of Containers!

    I have found my second hanging baskets where something looked "sick" in it and discovered the moss/coir lining had been ripped out from a section. The first was last week with an Aeschynanthus radicans (Lipstick Vine) and this morning with a
    Mesembryanthemum cordifolium/Aptenia. Water was draining out unnoticed.

    Sneaky birds collecting nesting.

          I've had the same problem on the balcony! I used to line the 5 hanging baskets with coir lining but the birds pulled a lot of it out! :rolleyespink::biggrin:

            A few years ago the blackbirds nicked all my Spanish moss, (Tillandsia usenoides), for nesting material.
            They dont care if it looks useful, they will take it.:biggrin:

                  I remedied the Lipstick one by using a used J-Cloth and the Aptenia one I managed to spread the coir out to fill the gap.
