Hanging Baskets..

    Just planted up two hanging baskets to be kept in the greenhouse until flowing well and frosts have gone.

    Plants are Thunbergia yellow star,
    Fuchsias blaze away and shrimp cocktail,
    Helichrysums grey and gold,
    Nepeta verigata,Bidens golden nugget
    Petunias tumbelina
    white and blue (doubles) purple sunrise,surfinias
    burgandy and victorian yellow.

    Someone said why are there no plants in the sides.

    Not needed they will hang about down about three to four feet.Similar to this...

    I haven' even sown some of the seeds yet for our hanging baskets!. It's certainly an eye catcher Roders. :D

    That looks fantastic, Roders - did you use plug plants? And do you mind if I nick your ideas? ;)

    Thanks for the compliments...............
    But I am not a hanging basket expert I just tend to plant as many thing as possible into the basket,just anything I can lay my hands on sometimes they work well and sometimes not so well..
    Plenty of water, as for feeding again it's anything that happens to be around Miracle Grow,Phostrogen,Potash,Comfrey Juice works well to but smells horrible,just outside my front door.
    I tend to buy some decent plants for the early baskets, a bit expensive but they do last the whole summer and after that some plug plants some from seed.Oh and I do add water retaining granuals. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    No problems with the fixing...just wondered what design of bracket you use. I used to make and sell 'em.
