    Dil made Advent Calenders for the 3 grandsons, using the same technique as she did last year.

    Instead of just opening a little window and getting a bit of chocolate or a toy, she wrapped small presents up individually and then the kids have a Lucky Dip Advent Box. It is a lot of work but it looks so nice, the boxes hanging from the curtain rod in the dining room. It's a Christmas decoration of a different sort.

    Some of the wee presents are chocolate, candies and Christmas cookies. Others are things to use, like pencils, a book, a small figure............

    I usually have a Thomas the tank engine calender but I haven`t seen one this year.
