Got my seeds in the post yesterday from mark Davies seeds cheered me up after a long 12 shift at work . Well packaged and both types with full instructions and general care details. Looking forward to getting them going after a soak to help them along. The palm seeds are the biggest seeds I’ve ever seen, the fact that the first thing I thought of was they look like sweets probably tells you a lot about the kind of person I am :giggle:

@pete The palm seeds are Brahea armata and the banana seeds are Sikkimensis. I have a 5 foot Brahea waiting to show off to visitors hiding in the garage over winter. But I love the idea of having one I’ve grown from seed. A lot of my tropicals are rare here in the uk meaning friends and family that visit haven’t usually seen most of these plants and are always impressed and comment on them.

You really shouldn't let your visitors hide in the garage over winter.:heehee:
