Happy boy

Well, it's so exciting.

Six months ago I bought an orchid from a death row shelf for �£2. The label helpfully said "One stem mixed".

OK, it's a cross of some sort, and I don't know what the flowers are like in shape or colour, but the pseudobulbs looked really healthy.

This evening I found a new flower spike developing.

Oh yes, I'm a happy boy. Photo to follow in a few weeks time.

 

Looking forward to that, Rich! Maybe it'll be a dendrobium.... :rolleyes: :D
