T'other Half is American so meeting friends for lunch. I will have turkey with mushroom sauce, rice and seasonal vegetables ... and a glass of wine or two. Will be 18c today so will eat outside.

Thank you. and Happy Thanksgiving to all. We are going out for the dinner at Mendenhall Inn. So a easy day for me.

 

At Mendenhall Inn, we had an upstairs seating. the buffet selections were unreal, tables laden with food on and on, had to roam about to plan the attach. Make sure I did not get anything I could make at home. they even had lox's and shrimp things, prime rib, the dessert table was huge. a chocolate fountain also, a bananas foster station, and a pasta station and a crepe station. here is the pic from above of the room. People kept coming in. tables kept being reset. large families showing up

 

Was telling a co-worker about going out, she said, she'd never think about it that you do that sort of thing. I told her, yep, lots of folks do. that you need to make reservation way in September for a spot sometime. its packed.
