Hard Pruning a Pieris

    I was given a leggy Pieris Carneval last Autumn that my brother didn't want and was going to throw away. I decided to take it and hard prune it. (If it came or not it would cost me nothing) I pruned it in October and at long last it is budding up. I hope it grows back bushy and not leggy like before. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

      They're difficult to kill through pruning. just keep it to the size and shape you want.
