    Hi all,

I started the hardening process yesterday. Most of the plants in my photo's have been grown from seed or bulbs. Had a few casualty's along the way but 95% of the plants are growing really well. This is only my second year of gardening and first year of growing from scratch. And before you ask, yes, all these plants fit in that little greenhouse (apart from the sunflowers in my makeshift coldframe).

thanks everyone, but it has been hard work. I sowed the seeds indoors on windowsills in February and didn't get the greenhouse until about 3-4 weeks ago. As you canimagine, I nearly got a divorce!!!
I'm not leaving the plants outside at night time yet, so if there is a frost, it should be ok.
I was planning to have plants outside during the day only for one week (tucking them all back in of a night time) but next saturday, leave the out for a week day and night. Then plant them up. Does anyone disagree here??
Here's a photo of all the plants back in the greenhouse for the night (yes, it's a tight squeeze!!)

Thanks again for all your kind comments. Happy gardeninig!!!

Just read in this weeks Amateur Gardening that when hardening, the plants should be put out during the day IN A SHADY AREA.
    Is this true?
Will it make a big difference? My plants have been in full sun all dayfor all 3 days!!!
I have just completed my 3rd day of hardening off and just put all of the plants back in the GH.
Please let me know what you all think.
    Cheers

As long as the area is sheltered I wouldn`t worry about putting them in shade. they are not going to be in shade when finally planted out.:)
