I planted a hardy fushia (can't remember which one now and not sure where I put the label) last year but it hasn't started sprouting yet and most other things have I am wondering if the snow and frost killed it?

Also nearby a small red hebe looks dead the leaves are all brown and shrivelled, another casualty?

While on this subject a Ceanothus I planted two years ago and was getting to a nice size is also looking rather dead? Do these grow back as when I lived in Newport where it was warmer in winter, the leaves stayed green all year round.

    Any advice appreciated

Army Nurse has green shoots all over and Dollar Princess has new growing points at ground level.
There is still plenty of time for regeneration, they often sprout on what apperas to be dead wood.:)

I also planted two hardy fushias last year and they aren't showing anything yet. But up here in Scotland and considering the winter we have had I was wondering:scratch:

I imagine it's a bit early for you, my parents moved down from Scotland to Wales and told me they were at least a month behind up there.
