    Hi Everyone

I hope your daffodils are out in bloom..

I have grown hardy garden geranium Rozanne for about 3 years ... it dies down so you cant see it over the winter ...

best way to propagate and when ?

    Ta

Hi, division when the soil is warm (and dry) enough to replant straight away.

I just stick a spade through mine and re-plant. They're tough plants and don't mind being roughly handled.

I bought one last year so it's still tiny and in a pot in the greenhouse but it looks as though all the seeds it dropped are germinating, so presumably they spread well too!

Are you sure your geranium is Rozanne, @Loofah ? It's supposed to be sterile...

That's my understanding too- that they're sterile. Division for geraniums is the usual, and easiest method.
I'm in a very small minority, as I really dislike it.
