I've just harvested my Echinops seed heads and was wondering if anyone had any luck storing them and raising plants from them successfully the year after. I tried a few years back but didn't get any come up.

I bought a packet of Echinops ruthenicus in 2007. I sowed them in March and the first seeds germinated after 17 days - but my notes then say they disappeared, though that could well have been my fault.

I see no reason why your seeds shouldn't do well. I don't know of any special treatment needed.
