I have had to take the bottom leaves of my plant as they were crumbly and going yellow. NOW I have yellow dots and scrapes rising up the leaves. All leaves feel rough, dry and papery.
    1. I have always made sure soil is watered from below and kept moist- not wet!
    2. Is it spider mite as there is a few pin head holes in some of the leaves, even though I haven't seen spiders ?
    3. May be plant needs extra feed - twice a week instead of one?
    Help!

If its spider mite they will be visible on the underside of the leaves, but unless you have very good eyesight they can be difficult to see.
Use a hand lens if you have one.

It doesn't look too bad to me.

Try to keep a humid atmosphere.
