    Hello

Last year we planted a Gleditsia tree and it did fine then and over the winter, and looked great this spring when it came into leave.

Recently, though, the leaves have started to turn yellow and are beginning to drop off.

The only thing we can think has happened is that we put a new stake in not so long ago, and wonder if we have damaged the roots. Although, that may just be a co-incidence.

Is there anything we can do to revive the tree now?

    Many thanks

    Phil

Evening Phil and welcome to the site. I would be inclined to wait and see. I don`t think you`ve caused the problem by putting in a new stake. I think it could be down to the on / off weather conditions. So sit tight, but keep an eye on it.:)

    Thanks, David. We'll do that.
