I bought mine 2 months ago because it is lightweight and has a roller.
it works well enough on regularly cut grass and produces a nice finish.

The only major problem I've found is that, occassionaly, the rear roller stops being driven.
This is an intermittent problem, the cable is adjusted properly and when it is
turning/driving there are no unusual noises.

    Has anyone any suggestions please?
Your help will be very much appreciated as our lawn is on a slight slope and at the moment I'm getting more excercise than I need due to the pushing!

I asume it is petrol. The most likely cause is that the drive belt needs tensioning, possibly the cables adjusted as well even if they appear fine.

All petrol mowers require adjustment after the first few months of use as everything beds in and cables stretch etc.

Best option would be to take it in to a dealer, should be a quick half hour adjustment around £17.
