    Hi all

I have a young 4 year old hazel tree in a large pot. Shortly after moving it from our old house to our new house it's leaves have developed a rusty colour and are sadly shrivelling up and dying. At my old house it was in more or less constant shade, and now it's out in the open with more sun. I've been watering it everyday but still the leaves are turning brown in colour and dropping off. I plan to move it into the ground soon, but am slightly concerned it won't make it.

Any idea what the trouble may be and if there is anything I can do . Any idea if the tree will eventually die?

    Thanks for your help.

    Robin

Good evening Robin and welcome to the site.:dbgrtmb: I think you could be overwatering it. Let it dry out for a few days and see what happens.
