Took our Ozzy for an overall health check at the weekend.

Always known he was a big boy.

But, recently, I've been thinking he is looking a bit "trim" (he's now 2 1/2) and when we got him (18 mths or so ago) he weighed 48kg

So, was keen to know how much he weighed/lost.

    He's now a mahoosive: 52kg!!!! :thud: That's over 8 stone!!!!!! :rolleyespink:

And not one ounce (gram!) of fat on him. :th scifD36:

That's all well and good while he's fit: but, what on earth do you do with a laddy that is unwell and there is only me available to "transport" him!!???  :th scifD36: (Just boy scouting  )

      He's a big cuddly boy "M":doggieshmooze:....

I came upon a similar situation with my previous dog and it was a case of frequent home visits from the vet, there was no way I could manage him on my own:phew:

Wow! He is a big lad "M"!

My daughter had a very arthritic Lurcher/Greyhound and although she wasn't that heavy, was difficult to get into the car. Foldaway ramps are available for dogs to get into the back of cars, that might help your situation. :)

Yes must vets do, we have one around here where all he does is home visits as it's less hasle for the dog/animal but it may cost more as he/she wouldn't be able to see as many because of travling from home to home

Get him weighed, Vince. Then you will know for sure
Seriously, we thought our Oz was losing weight - until the scales told us otherwise.
