Heating the greenhouse already

I can't believe I have had to put the heater on in my greenhouse already. I have noticed that over the last few days its getting quite damp and chilly inside. I have a lot of chilli plants on the go and some are quite late in fruiting, I was a bit worried that it would affect the plants.I don't mean to moan but if we could just have a little more summmer pleeeze. :(

As we keep getting told this is going to be the coldest and longest winter since 1963 - what advice from all the experts about keeping the greenhouse warm without it costing a fortune?
Or should we bring our plants indoors to save them?

 

As I recall being advised here bubble wrap - and will hopefully trying it this winter - but I wouldn't be without my fan heater. Wiring the greenhouse was the best thing I ever did.

 

Note to self - get a greenhouse!
