    Morning All!
this is my first post on Gardeners Corner and am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Unfortunately my first post isnt a very good one.

I have only recently got into gardening and so am a complete beginner. I have bought a wide selection of shrubs and bedding plants recently and planted them a few weeks ago.

All seems fine so far apart from a Hebe plant that I had given to me. Am not too sure on the latin name nor the variety of Hebe.

Since planting it it does not seem to have grown much and when i move away the top green vegetation, deeper down it seems to be turning brown.

This seems to be spreading more and more and am wondering what the cause of this is and how I can best treat it.

It seems to be affecting both the stems and the leaves of the plant.

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

I'm new too here and to gardening. Welcome [IMG]

Whats your soil like? With all this rain could your garden be waterlogged with no drainage? Roots need air aswell as just water.

Unusual for a newly planted bush to behave
like that so I guess it is not happy where you planted it
    Possibly too wet?
    Too dry?
Only you know the conditions it is enduring so tell us more [IMG]
Meantime .. welcome to GC [IMG]
