I inherited a Hebe which was leggy and overgrown, so took some cuttings and then hard pruned it. I understand they don't like it, but after a couple of months, it appears to be still alive, but not growing. There was some new growth lower down the stems but it hasn't got any larger. Is that what usually happens, and is it pointless to give it any more time to recover?
    Thanks

Did you feed it at all after pruning? It's fairly sound practice to give plants a bit of help to recover :)
