    Hi all,
I am looking for some advice with regards to a hedge to border my driveway/front garden to the road.

I would like something that fills out pretty quick and is able to dampen some of the noise from the road!

I live in Essex, so the soil is clay.

    Many thanks in advance!

Laurels, Hazel, Hornbeam, Beech (retains its leaves if kept as a hedge less than about 10 ft).
Larger leaved varieties are best for deadening noise, apparently. [IMG]
