    Hi Longk.
I`ve actually tryed 3 years ago , I`ve managed to germinate all 5 seeds but they dye down .
If i remember right I chipped the seeds and left in cold water for 2 days , then got some chip cat litter (don`t laugh... it work and it`s way chipper then perlite) or perlite , then put in a clear plastic tray and put in the microwawe for a minute to sterilising , let it cool down put the seeds and spray with water cover the seeds and cover with the lead ,put them in the propagator over a inch of water (that will keep the temperature stable ) the seedling should appear after 3 week.
why I lost the plant? i was working away and the propagator dry and cooked the plant : ( .
but overall really easy to germinate.
btw got some heliconia dwarf jamaica , if you want some in spring.
