I have 3 hellebore plants in my front garden. However the flowers remain green and no signs of colour so far. According to the card attached to them one should be orange, another purple and not sure what the other is. Anyone know why or what I can do.

One of the plants has fallen flat - the flowers are still there but the leaves and the flowers just lie on the gravel. What should I do?

They are also beset by weeds which are too deep and tough to dig out - I've tried several times. Is there anything I can put on them to kill them.

I'm thinking of putting down weed control fabric and cutting around the plants and then putting bark on top but these weeds are really strong and think they might push through fabric.

    Any tips very gratefully received.

    Hi
Do you think you may have missed them flowering as they all go green as they set seed , mine have finished flowering weeks ago ,, may be somthing has sat on your plant to squash it down, give it a tidy up if you havnt already cut all the old leaves out and top dress with some fresh compost

How long have they been growing ??
Iam suprised any thing is growing through them as once established they can be realy good ground cover, persivere with the weeds as they grow just keep cutting back until your plants get bigger .
Who said gardening is all about relaxing :yess:

    Hope this helps :dbgrtmb:
