Hello All from Lancashire

Hello,

My name is Dugie and I am new to gardening (6 Months). I find it to be very relaxing and it allows my mind to wander and forget the grind of day to day life.

I find it fascinating how plants have different needs from one another... I have a little bit of an addictive personality so when I take an interest in something, well, I always say... If you are going to do something dive in head first!

I have just built a 24ft long raised bed for my Wife. She loves flowers but does not like to have to learn how to care for them, which I understand. She looks after me so I will look after the plants... or at least try to.

And so the journey began!

I look forward to reading peoples posts and learning from you all.
