I am attempting to convert a "garden" into landscaping that meets my HOA standards. Those standards are pretty loose, but well kept and doesn't look like a tomato farm is a reasonable expectation.

The biggest issue I have is finding perennials that work as landscaping but are also useful and decorative. I have some Lesbos Basil that I am cultivating to a useful size along with some compact peppers and lavender. I will need some time for them all to grow in and get established, but I have hopes.
