hello all

Hello all, my name is tony, I have just been granted membership, thanks for that , today is my birthday I'm 49.I live in Derbyshire near Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth. I am a self employed stonemason, I work 25 hours a day 8 days a week so don't get much chance to garden but I hope that will change very soon.My wife loves to garden but has chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and is in a wheelchair moest of the time so I do all the heavy work for her. We plant mostly in raised beds, we like to use organic methods of gardening wherever possible. Any way thats enough about me . I'm sorry that my contribution to the forum will be mainly questions until I know a bit more which with your help I think won't be long.

Hi Tony,welcome to GC,sorry to hear about your wifes poor health.I have heard about that condition and I believe it can be very painful.

We love Derbyshire and especially Chatsworth and also Losehill...

My next-door neighbour is a stonemason (called a Pedreiro here), a good trade and he has done a lot of much-needed work for us. I guess with all those hours you work we'll only be chatting to you late in the evening! :rolleyes:
