Hi there everyone, my names Lee & as you can probably tell I'm originally from Liverpool but now living in Devon. I'm a self employed Tree Surgeon with my own small business but I'm slowing right down with my work now due to health reasons, my latest problem being a shoulder injury sustained while up a tree last year, now operated on but still giving lots of problems. It was just after my op in June that I decided to but a polytunnel,(only a cheap one but I like it), and I'm quickly learning all about the problems & benefits related to it, the butterflies & caterpillars soon discovered my brassicas,(I've made a screen now so I can leave the door open), but on the plus side I've just harvested my 1st french beans & my hot chillis are nearly there. Anyway I'm sure you will all get fed up of my constant questions but please try & be gentle with me lol.
    Thanks for now :thumb:

[IMG] Lee.. There are never too many questions mate so don't worry about that.. So, a bit of a lifestyle change for you then, but Devon is such a beautiful place I think you are in the right place to do it.. As I expect you have seen we have a polytunnel forum on here & people seem to achieve allot from them as it sounds like you are too.. Look forward to seeing you around the forums.. :D

Thanks for the welcome guys, I'm near Holsworthy Ziggy right on the Devon/Cornwall border,(6 or so miles from Bude). We spent 7 years in Dorset before this, 6 months up near Sturminster Newton & the rest in a little village between Dorchester & Bridport.:dbgrtmb:

I know Holsworthy, we did some major works to the church at West Putford in 2006.

When i'm not in Somerset i'm in West Bay:dbgrtmb: you can see the plots in the links in my signature.

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Lee. Being Liverpudlian you wouldn't have been far from me, just over the water. Ironically, I had a holiday down near Holsworthy this year, stayed at St. Giles on the Heath. It's a small world! :)
