Hello to all! Okay, okay, so I've been here before a while ago but I thought I might re-introduce myself as it has been a while and a lot has happened!
    Nice to be here again!
The reason for the slight change in my displayed name is that I forgot all my previous login details. Hence the change from plain 'ol Royster.
Hope everyone is well and I look forward to spending time on GC again!
    Kind regards!
    Roy

Hi Guys and thanks for all your "welcome backs". Apologies - things have been pretty rough in the past number of months but I'm trying to piece it all together again. Seems to me its about the right time to return here to GC to speak with my 'ol buddies as I've been misssing you all!
    Cheers!
    Roy

Thanks Royster! Cornwall is lovely - but I am biased having never lived anywhere else! Sometimes it feels quiet - but it's a great place to come back to when you go away!

Royster, looks like you've moved as well, or am I wrong there?

Nothing wrong with being biased about such a lovely place as Cornwall, Sarah. I am from Scotland originally and am very biased (if this is the correct word) about that lovely country. However, without meaning offence to anyone at all, I have mentioned before on this website that Devon and Cornwall are like England's Scotland as they are so beautiful counties. I am heading down to Cornwall early next month and hope to take in a number of these wonderful gardens you have there!
    Kind regards
    Roy

Yes LoL, I have moved from Warwickshire to Northamptonshire. I now live in a little village in the middle of no where. Its pretty, and is renowned not only for the beginnings of the English Civil War (near to Naseby too), but also for very frequent ventures of Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators in 1605.
How are things going in Portugal with you and yours?
    Kindest regards!
    Roy

Glad you're in a place you seem quite happy with. Also seems like you're interested in veggie gardening???

All is fine here, thank you. Weather is hotting up. We've been running a pleasant 20 degrees for some time and suddenly the last couple of days we've been around 30, but going down to 17-18 at night.

You may remember we found two kittens in a carrier bag last year the day they were born? Well, sadly we lost the girl, Candi, two weeks ago to a road accident ... in the middle of nowhere in the middle of night ... such is life .. it's in the Pets Section.

We're going through some turmoil at the moment ... so for your entertainment t'other half is doing this ...

    Nice to have you back.
