I just would like to introduce myself. My name is Looby and I am from Wales. I enjoy gardening though I am not very good at it. I have been looking for some new friends and hope I find them here.

I enjoy reading fiction. I used to have some pets but for the first time in 30 years I am now petless. That wont last for long but I want to have a bit of freedom before I get myself another pooch to spoil.

This looks like a lovely place to be part of hope that I will fit in with everyone.

I'm sure you will, Looby! Loads of us are pet-lovers - you've probably seen that already, in between all the gardening bits. There are quite a few people here in Wales, although maybe not so many down in the SE. One of my sons went to the Coleg Sir Gar (sorry - can't find the accents on the laptop!) in Carmarthen, so that's not so very far away from you..... and his twin went to Bristol!

Welcome, and enjoy being here! :D

Thank you for your warm welcome. You are right, Carmarthen is about an hour and a half away from here. So pleased that I found this place. I may be recommending it to a few of my friends.

Hi Loobylou and a very warm welcome from another Taffy. I was born in Pontypridd but we emmigrated to Canada when I was 3 1/2. You will enjoy it here as there are so many interesting things to read and talk about - something for everyone in fact. Don't worry, you are sure to fit in and find friends here. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. I have been a bit quiet today, busy doing other things but I promise my input will be worthwhile once I get used to my new abode.

Can anyone help me with the signature. The avatar was easy but I have been trying and trying with the signature with no luck at all.

Hi, Loobylou, don't think I've greeted you but welcome to GC!

What do you want to do with your signature? Words / pictures / both ?

Hallo Kedi-Gato - I'm curious to know how you get the cat moving. I would like to use one as a background on my computer - is that possible and is it necessary to have a picture of a cat to do it?

Hi floris, the best thing to do is to ask my Kid Sis, Lady of Leisure, as she found the walking cat and did it for me as a present.
