Hello - from a non-gardener!

Hi All, and thank you for accepting me!

Seems I am a bit impatient, as not only were my attempts to join rejected several times as allegedly being spammy or bot-like, but I didn't realise I needed to wait for the official welcome message to my inbox before gaining permission to post!

Anyway, hopefully I have overcome my initial teething-problems and now have posting rights.

I know you may wonder what brings me here if I'm not a gardener, but we have been asked not to post questions here, but to keep it for introductions only.

Something specific has happened that has led me to seek advice in a panic, but provided this posts OK, I will mosey on down to the Trees forum and share my tale of woe there. Hopefully someone will be able to reassure me.
