      From West Yorkshire allotmenteer to another welcome to the fold, now all your work begins!

      I have been an allotmenteer for over thirty years so this article I wrote a bit back along with its related links might help you to miss the pitfalls I had ;

      http://www.thegardenersalmanac.co.uk/Data/Allotments/Allotments.htm

      There is even a bit of a slide show on how I layout and grow my stuff.

      One tip I would give you is;

      If keeping an allotment becomes a chore rather than a pleasure give it up!

      Welcome Richard, I hope Dan warned you we can be a bit loopy at times, we like a good dose of humour with our garden produce, it goes down a treat. :heehee:
