    Hello there,
My garden is about 35 feet long and triangle in shape. As you can see there are many areas that need something! It has become quite difficult to know where to start. There's a pond that was dug in 1998 and apart from a little clearing it has got away from me, so that could be the first thing, oh dear!

Don't worry! I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that can help!

I perhaps would start with defining the lawn and the beds, by putting an edge to the lawn. This is a small thing that would make the garden look a lot neater than present.

    I hope that helps!

:thumb: Hi there Julia & [IMG] to GC.. You need to decide what you want.. Like plantstar says, edge your lawn up & dig your borders over as a start. You will get ideas when you are out there working. Have a look in the garden projects threads & see what others have been doing & ask plenty of questions there are always people ready to help on here.. Look forward to seeing you around..:thmb:

Thank you for your kind welcome. I realised after I'd taken the photo it needs a tidy up! Defining is such a good idea, thanks.

Hi there Julia, how are you? I am also in Leicester. Im new to gardening full stop and my garden is huge too. The front garden that is. I am also having great difficulty deciding where to start too. I have a problem with Ivy growing up my house that my net door neighbour planted and also there is alot of weeds thornes and a couple of trees that come back every year. We have no idea what they are or how to get rid. My lawn is not level either and its more like wild grass than turf. I just don't know where to start and would love some muscle behind helping me Hehe.

    Take care, babyboy515
