Hello from North Glasgow

Hello everyone, I have moved into a house with a good sized garden which I’m now discovering retains a lot of water and has a lot of builders’ rubble buried not far underneath the surface of the rather mossy lawn. I’m looking forward to learning a lot from GC and eventually being able to post answers and not just ask questions.

 

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Shubela. If you have bought a new build house, that tends to be par for the course unfortunately. With a bit of work and help from our friends here it can be put right.

 

Thank you Sheal for your welcome. It looks like the previous owner worked mostly with plant pots and a raised area at the end of the garden, now I see why. I’m off now to search for information on what to do with the discarded bulbs I found buried in the raised area and are now coming up blind.
