Hello from Peterborough

Hi, I'm David. I live near Peterborough.

Alongside the lawn and the beds of perennials, my primary focus is fruit and veg.

The soil here is clay, and the garden goes around the house. The vegetable garden faces south-east.

Plans for the next year? Mainly just to be more organised and keep a steady flow of vegetables and salad leaves through the summer and into the winter.

So I'm hoping to get inspiration, and advice to help me achieve this,

I'm sorry I won't be of much use to you on the fruit and veg front i' m more the ornamentals grower ( you'll always find me hovering around a Fuchsia or two ).

There are plenty of people on here though who can help you with any subject/problem you can throw at them

Lots of knowledgeable people here who like to grow their own (and a few of us who dabble a bit in a pot ).

Do you grow in raised beds or directly in the ground? Maybe a pot or three, even?
