Hello from the sunny North East.

This looks like a bright and cheerful forum. I found you by doing a Google search.

This is a picture of my 70x40 ft. back garden. South facing.
It is mostly take over to trees and bushes. One reason is - I love them. The more recent reason, is because I have four dogs - two whippets and two greyhounds. They are not interested in flowers - except to lay on them.

I also love alpines, hence the new raised planter. (To keep them safe).

My Mam had a whippet and my dad had part shares in greyhounds, we used to go to watch them race

I too like whippets and greyhounds. Before I have had some salukies (they too loved to lay on flowers or run over them).

Hello, and thank you.
After thirty something years in this house, I finally got the back garden how I like it.
My husband was one of those people who must have everything orderly and standing to attention.
Most of the plants were surrounded by canes, and tied up with string.
For the last couple of years, they have been growing as nature intended.

My front garden is 40' x 40'. It is mostly gravelled over now, with ornamental grasses, and shrubs.
