    hello there,just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself.

    i'm andy from north warwickshire,i'm 38y.o.:old: and currently inbetween jobs at the moment so i took up growing my own to fill my time inbetween jobhunting sessions and i must say that i'm enjoying:gnthb:....much tastier and healthier than the usual shop bought tasteless tat you get.

    hope to learn more as i go :)

    Got to agree with you about the difference between supermarket rubbish and the fresh home grown stuff.

    Hi and welcome.

    You are right about the difference between shop bought and home grown. I haven't grown veg for a few years (except potatoes) but my dad does and sometimes gives us some of his produce. The difference is unbelievable. The wife had never tried home grown stuff before we met. I remember the first time I made a meal featuring my potatoes. She asked me what I'd put in them because it was really nice but she didn't recognise the flavour. She thought I'd put some herbs or spices in the pan with them. I hadn't added anything to them.
