Hello Greedy Spider

    took these pics in my friends garden of this spider with what looks like a moth.

    thanks Davew, my friend spotted it in her garden, i guess it is a moth some size dont know were it got that from the greedy little thing haha

    Nice image, Rosa. I don't mind spiders from a distance, just as long as I don't get one of them on me....

    thanks strawman and kelly, i wouldnt want the spider on me also strawman hehe and kelly yes its on it web the spider was wrapping it around i guess when i took these pics

    Great pics Rosa, I love spiders as well as reptiles (as you know), looks like a meal for a month, after it has injected the prey with venom which disolves the insides so it can suck it out, Yum yum.:D

    thanks strongy and lollipop, was quite pleased with the pics i got, was just wondering i watched a programme last night and im sure is this a chrisilas it has captured as it was about butterflies and the pic they showed looked excactly like that.

    Not sure Rosa as spiders only catch moving prey and a chrysalis would be static. Reckon it was a moth as you first thought.:)

    Sorry Rosa,I missed this thread.:dh: Mr Sidney spider looks like he is going to have a great feast on that wee beasy.:D

    I wonder in the great scheme of things exactly how long that meal will last him until he has to eat again because his stomache can't be that big:D

    thats ok kandy, its some size unless he has friends and hes going to have a party haha.

    strongy when i watched the butterfly programme seen the chrisalis it just looked like that what greedy spider has got
